Today’s Reflection:
Today Lana and I begin our gypsy life. I decided that since I have been saying that for a few weeks now I should probably know what a gypsy is. I didn’t know it, but the term gypsy actually has it’s root in the word “Egypt” where the original gypsies of England were thought to have migrated from.
The Oxford dictionary defines gypsy as: “a member of a wandering race (by themselves called Romany), of Hindu origin, which first appeared in England about the beginning of the 16th c. and was then believed to have come from Egypt.” We’re not Hindus, but it may not be much of a stretch to trace our spiritual ancestry back to Moses and Israel coming out of Egypt. But we can definitely say that we are wandering!
It will be an exciting time for us! I'll try to keep you updated through my blog, but may not post every day. Please keep us in your prayers.

Isaiah 53.10-11: Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand. After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.

- I've been married to my wife, Lana, for nearly 40 years. She is the love of my life and still makes my heart beat fast! We have three beautiful daughters and accompanying handsome husbands. They are spread across the eastern part of the United States. We also have 4 precious granddaughters, a grandson and another little fella one on the way! I am blessed way beyond what I deserve. I have been a follower of Jesus Christ since I was fourteen years old. (Suffice it to say that that is a lot of years!) I have been a pastor since I was 32, embarking on my second career and my life's calling after I had been working in industry for ten years after college. In 2018 I retired from active pastoring and refocused my ministry to writing, speaking, coaching, and being a spiritual friend. I have formed a non-profit corporation called Momentum Ministries to help me fulfill my life's calling.

Yay for the gypsy life! I'm praying that God will use this time to show you and Mom his tremendous faithfulness! And I have to admit, I'm excited that your "wanderings" are going to bring you to GA soon!
I finally figured out how to get on the internet in the hotel. Gypsies aren't always computer savvy. At least not this one.
God IS going to use this time to work his purposes in our lives. This next chapter of our saga will be "wanderful"!
